The Two That DIdn't

Skylar marner

Worms emerge from the empty sockets

They act as eyes

Vines

Hugging tightly

Wrapping around the couples ribcages and bones

Their attie

1908

Corset and dress loosely sit on her skeleton figure

A top-hat and coat rests over his bones

No longer dressed to the nines

Now resting in tattered remains

A gentle sway is all they need

As they hold on tight

Fragile encounters

Gripping onto the bones of the other skeleton lover

Afraid of falling back apart
